the unforgettable look of love in a loved one's eyes, which shows up at surprising times, which makes you wonder why that look should show up for an undeserving man. i must say, not quite equal, but almost is to see some one amused enough to heartily laugh. doug

There are so many beautiful sights! Flowering fruit trees, the sunrise over grass sparkling with dew, the blue fjords of my native western Norway as seen from the top of a high mountain ... And yet, if I were told that I was going blind but could bfirst see again one last sight ... it would be my best friend coming down the stairs for Sunday breakfast, in her worn PJs, without makeup and with her hair wild, brushing a strand of pale hair out of her eyes and smiling her half-shy, tired morning smile.

Watching my daughter and son hug eachother for no reason other than the fact that they love eachother. Watching them sleep in the same bed, forehead to forehead....watching the 4 year old try to teach the 1 year old how to color...

hmm...guess I could have just said "my kids" and left it at that...
