Attention, prep forum participants. I asked Spider to make these postings based on 30 years of living the prepared "life". I have no idea whether I will agree/disagree with various aspects, but I'm certain it will be useful to many of us. Keep your eyes peeled over the coming days.

I'm going to be gently prodding a number of our resident experts to tell us more about themselves and their OVERALL life experiences in these very practical areas over the next month or so.

Hope you'll all join in.

Thanks, Spider.

YOU FORGOT "SEX"!!!

Spider...most of those are self explanatory...but by all means post more on each. Like BigDog says...maybe we can all join in on this one.

Sex is a definate helper, but it's not neccesary to your survival. ~G~

As I've posted before...am Diabetic and going blind and have been homeless. I ran a small horseranch in Tx that had an outhouse and lukewarm water in the Summer and none in the Winter. Lived in a state forest in Florida for a year. I know something about survival. Maybe I should post '101 Ways To Cook Raman Soups' ~L~

I recently purchased a book thru Amazon.com, called 'The SAS Survival Handbook' had wanted one for years. It is suggested reading by myself and others who know what they are talking about. Another excellent book is the Reader's Digest 'Back to Basics' came out in the mid-80's. The Foxfire Books are good as well...anything that has diverse info on basic living/homesteading will help, depending on how much you are willing to 'rough it'.

Care all...O'siyo!
