Got a human question to ask

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

How many nationalities are posting here? What is your country? If we post here, to comfort and inform one another, Why all the doomsday from one country to another? Let me also say, I am a human with default. Before my fingers typed this, I got on my knees, and asked for direction. (Gad! I hate flames!, makes me feel kinda bad, for a bit!)

We've been getting sporadic reports from Italy, Australia, England, Denmark, Canada, U.S.,and Australia to the best of my knowledge. Possibly other countries, too -- sometimes indirect reports along the lines of "My brother-in-law called from Lower Slobovia, and he says...."

Posting from western australia. To a good many people living in the eastern parts of australia we are not considered a part of the country.

Have come across some minor glitches, a customer rang today to tell me their phone system has gone back to 1996.I offered them the upgrade last year but they declined.

I am beginning to wonder how much more money will be spent on this problem.

We live in the People's Republic of Minnesota, "the land where absolutely nothing is allowed." Liberal haven, welfare heaven, home of he-who-shall-remain-nameless-but-whose-initials-are-JV, Senator Welfar--er, Wellstone, 3-M, and Purple Pride. In the immortal words of Jason Lewis, radio commentator regarding our gubernatorial election: "Minnesota! What were we THINKING??"
