Homer does not usually post on the weekends. Could he actually NOT have a computer at home? *shudder*

Well then, lets rename this forum to the John Whitley useless news network.

Congrats J Whitley, your efforts to kill this board are working.

Hey, no one pays me for posting. There is no other Y2K news out there currently - if there was, I'd post it. However, since you prefer the non-existent to the existent, even if posted as 'backgrounders', I have no problem with that. I'll just conserve my time, and wait to read the news that you post :).

Go right ahead - I, for one, am interested in anything Y2K-related or reported, so feel free to post away. I'll welcome the change of shift :)

This is the TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Discussion Forum.

This forum is intended for people who are concerned about the impact of the Y2000 problem on their personal lives, and who want to discuss various fallback contingency plans with other like-minded people. It's not intended to provide advice/guidance for solving Y2000 problems within an IT organization.

John Whitley is posting totally On-Topic!

We will all get over this shock with an attitude adjustment ;^)

Y2K aftereffects will still have impacts on personal lives. Watching to see what direction those impacts might take is worthwhile.

If anybody is having trouble keeping up with the top level New Questions page, just keep refreshing the New/Recent Answers page at:

And, to borrow from a troll: Have A Nice Day
