In the spirit of FRED (thanks Bok et al), I am having a problem with my ATT Worldnet account. I can receive mail, but the separate send mail server is not working. Had to do a copy and paste of some community volunteer stuff that had to get out. I sent myself an e-mail from another account, so the receive mail server works.

When I called their help line, they said they had a "yellow" indicator and that something had just happened and did not have the information as to what it was...

Call it happenstance, call it paper cuts, call it Y2K... or call it FRED ! Either way, these technologically or infrastructure based paper cuts are not going to be wonderful. Where I live, (No. CA), we are also going to be in deep doo doo for water.

Preps are a good thing, me thinks. I probably spent about $100 over what I cannot eat or use immediately (water barrel, solar shower, some thermoses, etc.)
