Y2K bug hits tracking of registered mail - TOKYO, Jan. 7 2000... The Posts and Telecommunications Ministry said Friday its mail service is unable to keep track of some registered mail because software to deal with the Year 2000 computer problem was not installed at some post offices. The ministry said the tracking of registered mail will resume Saturday and that the problem has not affected delivery.
