Hi all!

I've got a big problem. I own a few Video CDs and want to play them on my Pioneer DV 525. Yeah, right the Video CD plays but there is no chance for me to use the menu or jump directly to any chapter I want to. Therefore I think it's quite shitty because I wanted to create Video CDs with privat videos and use chapters and menus......

Please help me.....(if there is a chance)

i own the 525 and to jump if their are multiple chapters, use the previous and next buttons on your dvd remote. i do this all the time and it works fine. As far as menus go, i cant even encocde the stupid things with them, so i couldnt help you there.

Thanks Doug, but your tip only works if there are several tracks. If there is only on track with some jumppoints I can't reach them.

Well, I just finished ripping the ExistenZ DVD to VCD and I made it with index's every 5mins using VideoPak4, however to use the index's on my Sony 715 I can't use the fwd/back track buttons, I have to press search (which brings up TRACK SEARCH) then press search again (which chagnes it to INDEX SEARCH) then type the index in and press play... Hope this helps you a little

I have the same problem with my SonyDVP NS305. I have been told by Sony that the video CD format does not support menus !
