Y2K Is HERE TO STAY!!

Man, are there a lot of systems failing as we finally get into the year!!

THIS BOARD IS PROOF Y2K IS HERE TO STAY!!!

As the infrastructure crumbles, and stocks plummet, how much of my cash should I dump back into the market in the form of puts and shorts so I can clean up when it collapes?

What time frame should I have? By Feb 29, the next "rollover?" When is the cumulative "buffer" that one guy was explaining about going to really hit? I have enough padding to hold shorts through any temporary gain up to 25% or so.

How much do the rest of my fellow Y2K "doomers" ( don't like that word, but you get the abbreviated idea) have invested in shorting this sucker? Is 50% down a good estimate, or will it be more?

Does 80% in the market, (betting on it going down, of course), sound about right--i.e. is the best current guess that there's about 80-90% chance Y2K stuff is going to take the sucker down?

Cash is good, but no-one's paying me interest on it...

And I know this is personal, but Ed--you are the best analyst we have--have you shorted the market big?

This post is the same format as "I Make(easymoney@in the stocks.com)" who posted a reply on the Comeau thread below. And you remind me of someone from the Debukie board.....hmmmmm.
