I'm just starting to do some advertising in my new community of Bermuda. I'll soon be posting an add in a community newsletter. I just wondered what types of things you would include when you have little space? I would like it to be to the point, but also shed some light on what a doula is. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Physical,emotional and informational support during labor and birth Helping write birth plans Taking photos Birth story

Whatever else you have special skills in!

Dona encourages doulas to have, doula education nights in their communites, to get the word out about doulas, and their role. That is where i got my first impression's of doulas, and it really helped to meet a group of doulas in such a relaxed way. This is in my opinion the best way to advertise. if you need help on where to start with this, just e-mail, i'd be happy to help with more suggestions.

Are you Pregnant? Find out how a Doula can help you and your partner have a more satisfying birth experience!(date/time/place of education night and/or how to get a hold of you.)

Are you having a baby? Find out how a Doula can help cut your chances of a cesarean by 1/2, your request for pain meds by 1/3, and shorten your labor by 25%(specific info.)
