Follow-up from yesterday's thread:

Today technical support advised me to change my "short date" format in Windows 98 regional settings to include a four digit year. I did that, and it seems to have corrected the problem going forward, but the date on the earlier transactions expanded from 00 to 1900 and I am unable to use the edit function to alter the transaction. Techinical support seems to be unavailable at this time. 2:30 pm est.

I believe this software was purchased in August 1999.

Exactly what edit function do you refer to? Have you tried right clicking on the time in your toolbar to pop up the Adjust Date/Time option window and attempting to adjust it through that route?

With regard to your question about changing the date and time setting in Windows 98, the VersaCheck problem is unrelated to that. My operating system seems to have no problems with date or time. The only problems are within the accounting application.

Whoops, sorry about that. I thought you were talking about your operating system.

No, I am not running VersaCheckPro. Have you tried rebooting your system? Doesn't always help, but sometimes it does.
