Thanks for the sniglet! Yep, that's me all right. Took some of my prep money and registered for a night class. However, I believe I will be fading back to pessimism if I can't access the internet. I am posting this from my work machine because the 2 ISPs I use at home keep kicking me off. It just started happening today. Rats.

Margaret J.,
What a positive and empowering thing to do! Coincidentally, I signed up today for a spring semester through the thornbushes...a 4 month jaunt through Mechanical Desktop ( a 3D computer drafting thingie)

Somewhat unrelated, but ... Try the new product: Autodesk Inventor. You will probably hate to go back to Mechanical Desktop.

Atul.
Thanks for the heads up. I read about Inventor in Cadence, and it seems to be the cat's meow, but we're using MD at my office and I'm moving from 2d into 3d using our available resources...until we can convince the man with the deep hip pocket to spring for Inventor, we'll have to stay with MD. Thanks again.
