Failures/Statistics

So where are our good statisticians. For every true legitimate failure reported here there are another 100-500 not noticed or reported. We may not yet be approaching a warp core breach.... but the fan is turning a definite color (of brown).

Maybe yes, maybe no. At this point it's clear that those of one mindset look at the relative silence with various odd reports surfacing and smell conspiracy while the other looks at it and concludes that the small bugs are being handled. This being the case, determining who is 'right' may be not the easiest of tasks, and in fact isn't.

It's sort of like "How many licks does it take to reach the center of a Tootsie Pop?"

The world may never know. Makes for interesting debate, no doubt. It's all about fault tolerance, plain and simple. Let's hope the anomalies stay at reasonable levels.
