Our daily downloads from Dial Data, one of the largest data providers and a listed company, won't let us download due to a date of the Year 100. They finally offered us a fix but it won't download. So here we sit and wait for our turn to get a compliant software program - not that there is a problem. This is our fifth "bug" so far in January. You know, the one that didn't bite or was a hoax.

What kind of data does Dial provide?

Actually, we have traced the problem to the software (Window on Wall Street Profession 5.0)and not the actual downloads from Dial Data. As of January 7, we still have not been able to download the Y2K patch. It freezes each time we try. Very irritating.
