This report sent to me directly from an Emergency Manager

Steve Davis- I live in Cowlitz County in the State of Washington. Nothing at all happened on New Years eve in our county and furthermore, that goes for the whole State. However, this morning when I checked the various river gages in our county, it appeared that none of them were working. I called the National Weather Service in Portland, Oregon (they do our forecasting because we are closer to Portland than Seattle, Washington) I found out that the website for the weather service was having a Y2K problem.
