For a revision of our book, VIRTUAL TEAMS, due out from Wiley at the end of this year, we have this straight-forward question:

How many teams are there?

Clearly, there is no simple answer to this question but . . . what is the current estimate? Steelcase commissioned research in 1995 indicating that there were 10 million people working in knowledge worker teams at that time.

Does anyone have more up-to-date info? We'll credit you of course!
