statements of y2k success have no factual grounding.

I keep hearing the same thignfrom the pollies. They post the fact that a network television station or clintons y2k posterboy or some other provenly untrustable source has declared there are no problems and that the y2k bug is squashed. I know there have been brownouts and blackoutss from personal experience. Granted, there can be brownouts and blackouts all the time but the likliehood of brownouts and blackouts all happening within 2 days of each oother all across the us is not likely and even if it is, these sources that you are quoting are giving no specifics it is the same rhetoric over and over there are no substanial y2k effects. Don't tell me that, tell what y2k effectsa there are and let me decide my hypothesis' on the importance of them. I hear constant factual reports form the people you have labeled doomers. I don't think that doomer is an ppropriate term for most of these people. I think preparers are a more formatable term.I myself can be classified as a doomer. I think that the human factor in general has been duped about everyu truth it holds dear to FEEL! better about their lives and their situations. II truly feel for you that you can't see the possible effect dependence on so many others could have. With a total socioeconomic dependence on 95 % of the working population. TEOTWAWKI could dome about from a few major world wide natural disasters that anyonee with a high school education knows comes about at the least every twelve thousand years. How long has it been since the last ice age? I know that I am now rambling about inconsequential possibilities, but if you have a decent intellect, can't you take five minutes to try and think about humanity and earth as opposed to being totally self consumed and self possesed. That's all I have to say about that,.
