Here's where to sell solar panels, wind generators, etc.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Sailors are always looking for good deals on solar panels, wind generators, batteries (flooded, gel, and AGM), jerry cans, gimbaled lamps, camp chairs, tenders, etc. I suggest that those of you who now feel a bit -- um, overstocked -- should advertise these items for sale on sailing bulletin boards and Usenet groups.

There's always E-bay, but don't be so quick to sell your stuff just yet....hold on to your stuff for at least 6 months.

why would anyone want to sell alternate energy items?

I would hope that if you decide to sell generators, solar panels, grain grinders, pressure canners, etc.,etc, that you would give the members of the forum first chance at the stuff. Taz

Thank you Taz,
I for one am interested in any good deals.
I am in to alternative energy for the long
haul. Same with preps.

Taz & Spider,

Count me in as well, please. I'm interested in getting some solar panels and prep gear. My e-mail address is real if any prep sellers are out there...

I need more solar panels, too.

Godspeed,

Count me in - I might be interested in solar panels, inverters, etc. from someone who decides they aren't worth the effort or who wants to try to recoup some of their outlay. Please email direct - won't be here regularly. Thanks.
