Hacking in South Africa

One of the top life insurers in South Africa was hit on 31 Dec 1999. All mainframe systems were shut down, etc. after it was assessed that clients' credit card info, etc. was stolen. Heard about this from a top executive...needless to say nothing in the newspapers. Company's name begins with an "S".
