Troll- trollglodite and Polly - Pollyrazmataz

A troll is a type of fisherman.. he trolls his line slowly behind a boatin order to catch fish. A polly, on the other hand, is an individual, with a powerful sense of duty to defend the status quo. It is unthinkable to a polly that the established infrastructure that we take for granted to run our lives could ever fail.

It is a conceptual thing, related back to the beginnings of Western Man, having dominion over the fishes and all that.

We're back to fish, I guess....

LL:

I'm not going to try and intelligent conversation with you again. The last time I did that all of your posts were deleted. I looked like some old man who talks to a tree.

Best wishes,,,

Please can anyone tell me what a "boatin" is? I'm confused. (giggle) ;op

-- cin (cinlooo@aol.com), January 02, 2000.

A boatin (giggle) is the words "boat" and "in" mistyped. It happens when the space key is not hit between the t and the i.

I hope this clears up your confusion

Thank you so much for answering my question folks, all of you who took the time to answer. This will help me to understand the posts better. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

But it is quite simple dear, you don't deserve one :-)

Lady Logic; I got your answer. The one you pasted in the other thread. Thanks. I have been watching your posts today, not that it should matter to you. I do see that you are starting to show a genuine sense of humor about all this. Thank you soooo much.

I do mean that. There was a while when you had me begging anyone who would listen for you IP address.

:)

By the way, the rose is attractive. It's been the thorns that were prickeling me :)
