We have argued and argued and all in the face of what I personally believe is insufficient evidence (either way) to conclude that argument. We seem to be getting better at not insulting each other, that makes this place a more plesant place to visit.

What we have seen so far is very positive. There are issues which still must be resolved. Though the number involved in and volume of the argument will diminish over the next several days. Some parts of this argument will continue through this year. Predictions by their nature can not be tested until some critical date or time passes.

What we need here is reporting, not opinion. Everyone's opinion is well established. It is not noteworthy to simply restate that opinion for the sake of creating arguments. It is noteworthy, however; to report and document a report (either positive or negative) about current events. The world is a big place. Things happen every day which can be attribuited to darned near anything. Reporting of events should atleast include some substantiation that the problem reported is indeed a date related problem.

I can't speak for everyone, but it is my sincerest hope that I can be soon convinced that my remaining worries are just that. I intend to let facts and not speculation convince me of that, if the facts are able. If not,

Thanks for the concern. While this is not really the topic of this thread, I will take the time to answer the personal inquiry which might better have been forwarded by mail.

My lady seems to be doing fine next door atleast she carries part of the phone bill for this start up operation. The clam chowder has been especially delicious lately. Come on in and have some.

Why aren't you signed up with me? I have been running for six months now and never have given a single busy signal... and my unremediated Linux servers sailed thru the CDC without a burp unlike a couple of the local providers, which decorum prevents my mentioning. I am sooo... glad I was not running an NT mail server, most of them had problems but then I'll bet you knew that.

On the heat issue: I have minimized my heating requirements and other costs to ensure that my average monthly bill is about $9.00. Which is less than half of what the other local providers are charging and I offer the same quality of service. The wood stove heats the front of the old house. Did you know it is an historic building? When time permits, I think I shall probably go about restoring it. There is a propane wall unit in the back of the building. The server room heats itself by virtue of being such a small space with so much hardware running. I was thinking of that this spring when I set it up. Needed a little more heat so I decided to install a second firewall in mid December, heh. One really can't have too much security, can they?

Since the thread degenerated to personal information I will use it to make a cheap plug for the Town of Urbanna's Official Web site. This is a great little town. I serve the town's web site.
