Went to the pet store to kill some time, buy some brine shrimp for the aquarium. Apparently, the store in question couldn't process credit or debit cards.

The manager said that the system that they installed in October was supposed to be compliant. He got about 20 faxes from the company yesterday and today regarding this...that was about as much he would share.

Said it was affecting his sales, but not too bad at this point. This is a small business, not a chain.

Just thought I'd share this with you. Very pleased with the overall situation so far :-)

A lot of small businesses are probably closed today, not many people going out. Monday should be interesting.

Not just Monday -- don't forget Saturday and Sunday. Should be big shopping days.
