State of Financial Software

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Just finished six hours of Testing of all international trading systems....

Other than a few holiday issues, which is normal at the start of a year. All systems are up and functioning.

Apparently Y2k could be fixed.

I extend congratulations to every software, designer, developer, and tester who maked this thing a non-event.

Monday batch runs may still have issues, but potential problems are shrinking fast!!!!!!!!!!!

You tested 100% of ITS in 6 hours. We're home free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO actually, you added the 100% and the home free part. Just to clarify it. The only thing factual in your response was 6 hours. Go spin the facts, somewhere were people care

"amazed" is simply using the same technique that convinced so many people things would collapse in the first place. One trick pony.
