Trains?

Hello to all!

Just a personal observation -- here where I live in Arkansas, we usually have a train go by every few minutes (sometimes Amtrak, too). We didn't have a train all last night, and none so far this a.m. I thought the rail systems would only be shut down for a couple of hours (??) Does anyone have information on this?

We usually have a train about four a. m. and one about 3 p.m. daily. Yet during this past week in northern California trains have been running almost continually, maybe ten a day or more. Today, none.

No trains here either. I live in Ohio along a CSX mainline. The newspaper said the other day that CSX would shut down for a few minutes at midnight.

Well, we had ONE train a bit ago, and it was a SLOW and noisy one. :-) Maybe they are just starting back up slowly so as to catch any problems that crop up.

Have a good day, all!

No trains in my area also, very unusual!

First train to pass thru this morning at 0700. Really enjoyed the unusual silence yesterday.
