Living in constant, unrelenting, intensifying fear is not for me.

While I will remain prepped to a decent level, my 'defcon' levels will be reduced greatly in the days and weeks to come.

Chemtrails, Klinton, Detention camps, NWO, etc.. are for someone else to worry about. I've seen this sort of thinking for decades. The names and faces change, the focus changes too, but the fear is always there and its no way to live.

Sounds like the same "end times" crap that people have been hopeing for for centuries. They always have a disaster or end of the world "just around the corner". Y2k is a flop so gee now its the sun and when that fails to happen they will find another reason to say the sky is falling. Looks like alot of people want these things to happen so they the "rightous ones" who think they somehow have the right religion and are "Gods people" will be magicly zapped away to a heaven where they will live in some spiritual Disney World. Seems to me people want to escape and not have to face reality. I definitely belive in a spiritual creator but if they would take time to genuinely study the evelution and devlopement of the human races various religions they may have a better idea of where Chritianity come from and what Jesus probablly said rather than the politically motivated and edited book they call the Bible. Grow up, educate your selves and maybe see a shrink!Yes you better be prepared because this Earth will most likely be here long after all of us are gone.

it was so fascinating to watch the Emporer Himself deliver an address (as the ball was almost ready to drop--he was SO IMPRESSED WITH HIMSELF I THINK) regarding intolerance, hatred, and accepting the "inconveniences" of globalization. i saw the masses nodding. and as i watched him and the whole coverage of yesterday, i thought, yep, we are soon ready to be able to facilitate the prophecies of revelation.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can read about a system(like Christianity as revealed through the Bible) which depends on the truth of all the parts functioning together and select certain truths and disgard others, thereby diminishing the value of that system. The bible says over and over that you will not know the time or the place and that today's problem's are sufficient for today. Today we have a real problem which we as the created need to and are equiped to deal with if we use our God-given reason and talents. Wisdom is seeking the truth through reason and discovery. It is reasonable to remain vigilent to the probability of failures in commerce and government when presented with a problem of the magnitude and simultaneity of the Y2K project. It is reasonable to assume that organizations with problems have a vital stake in going to heroic lengths to hide for as long as possible. What we need is verifyable facts and evidence from which to draw scenario's from which to make preparations. These facts come through the mundane work of investigation and corroboration NOT flights of fantasy and unreasonable speculation. My guess is that evryone participating in this forum knows people who work for SME's, Fotune 1000, and and/or Gov. CNN reported that there will be an average of 3.6 Mil. people at work over this weekend attemoting the first of the real world testing, albeit under virtually no real-world loads. They are doing the first of the preliminary regression/functional testing.

APPEAL: Call them. Pursuade them to tell you what they know so long as it doesn't cause them a significant liability. Ask them how they know what they know and why it is reasonable to assume that what they know is out of the ordinary, etc. Let's get scientific fast because, at this point, with out further understanding, all of the scenario's outlined by Yourdon, North, Bennet, Rubin, Yardeni, Greenspan, et. al., from one extreme to the other, are still very real risks. It's time we take responsibility to narrow down the range of probable outcomes. Let's roll up our sleeves and do this work.
