Ed has nothing to answer for -- the threat was/(is?) real, even if it did not come to fruitition. Having had the good fortune to work w/Ed, I can tell you that he inspired me to take *reasonable* precautions. I live in Southern California and provisions for y2k work just as well as provisions for "the big one."

I am personally grateful for Ed's concern.
