Everything fine in Central VA!

Everything fine here in Southern NJ. Just a few firecrackers and some kids yelling. Thankfully, it seems the really rowdy college crowd here ditched for a better party.

My family room is covered with confetti after allowing the "kidlets" (my own and her friends) to "have their way with it."

I am reporting to you at 12:30 A.M. on January 1, 2000 from the Detroit, Michigan area.

This was the best New Year's eve I've ever experienced in my life.

Hubby (a former restaurant owner and chef) made prime rib for two couples who are the parents of my child's best friends. A wonderful dinner and the lights are still on.

At this moment, I am giving thanks to God, and also to all the geeks/cops, etc. who worked overtime to "make my day."

I think they "did good."

Here's hoping all of you will awaken tomorrow with the same feeling of peace in your heart as inhabits mine at this current moment.

:)
