A minor but still embarrassing programming error for the Universal Time Standard website! Does it indicate there could be other problems??/ Probably not in itself. However, please excuse me while I go get a life.

Attention, Earthlings.

This is The Fat Lady.

I want you to know I have not sung.

The Countdown says 31 December 1999 and 23 hundred hour but above that line are the 00 hour and correct minutes. Then I scrolled down and clicked on Greenwich Mean Time and saw another web page with a daytime photo of the English Physical Laboratory and the "correct current time". But I couldn't get the atomic time-- browser timed out, no pun intended!

It seems that the "DISPLAY" is linked to Your clock on Your PC. If you change your clock back, it will display "your clock date"

WWV in Fort Collins, CO is right on time with their time standard. Check it out on shortwave radio @ 10.000 or 15.000 Mhz (just two frequencies).

Sorry, no problem here!

a programmer screwed up. ALL is A OK! Fat lady is still breathing IN.

Just printed it again.

It is now 31 Dec 1999, 24.33 UTC by that clock. It changed from 23 UTC to 24 UTC instead of 0000 UTC. You see, the New Year has been POSTPONED by that clock! If imbeds were programmed by the same jerks, then 2000 hasn't happened yet!

If they can't handle even a day changeover, what then is the status of Y2k remediation?

As they say in Singapore--Yippeee, it's 12/32/99. Happy...whatever.
