I have been told by a EOR nurse at Newark Beth Isreal, in Newark NJ, that they recieved a shipment of 1500 body bags last night.

They have also stepped up security at the hospital. There is no longer an "open door" policy where almost anyone can just walk in.

I couldn't confirm that this was happening at other hospitals, but she told me her friends at other hospitals were saying similiar things.

Y2K is looking like a bust so far, but it looks to me that there is a strong fear of a terrorist attack.
