A bomb threat was received at the Southeastern Power Administration Thurmond 322 MW hydroelectric power station in South Carolina at 15:00 EST, December 30, 1999. The incident is under FBI and local LE investigation. The Pacific NW DC Intertie was taken out of service at 20:53 PST, December 30, 1999 by physically loosened tower guy wires. The tower is on the ground. This appears to be a deliberate sabotage incident. Repair is under way. There has been no loss of customer load. Limerick Nuclear Unit No. 2 tripped at 01:10 EST, December 31, 1999. The cause of the trip is known and is not Y2k related. Power supplies remain adequate due to moderate loads and available generating capacity in the area.

Can you tell me the URL where you got this? I went to the Nerc.com site and could not find it. I even executed several searches for both Thurmond and Limmerick and turned up nothing. Please confirm.
