How can I make Ecco talk? and where is the bloody handkerchief and is the bloody handkerchief the same as the crimson viel, which I can't find either, much less the keys to Ravel's portal. I think I have done a million quests and these I can't get! Help!

go to the curiosity shop. by a tongue. then give it to her. it will do something unsavory. go back to the curiosity shop and get another item to reverse the effect. thats it! have fun.

the viel is in a "dresser" which is actually a polymophed magic user. It is in the first room on the left. Talk to the dresser and you can trick it into giving the viel. Then the perfume quest should become clear!
