Who's got Bok's chat web address?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Deleted Thread : One Thread

There's a chat hosted by bokonon of TB2000 "fame" that I've participated in, but now can't locate address. Spoke with Stan Farnya, Lilly and Old Git there one night, I believe.

Occurs to me that might a good spot to check in for live action... that is if anyone is up and posting. It's still the 28th and only 8:45 here in Hawaii.

TECH, do you have a list of any fallback sites we are likely to find others from TB2000, or did you do as I did and end up here via "logic"?

Sara, The address for Bok's chat room is http://homestead.deja.com/user.bok0non/html.index

(BUT he has it password protected, presumably to keep out the trash, such as the ones I (and I think TECH32) suspect of a DOS (Denial of Service) attack. And I cannot remember the password.)

The only one I caught was at Yahoo:

Hello,

Not so fun when it happens to you, is it?

I think I will email Y2KPro the keys to this board, and allow HIM to determine what stays up and what gets deleted.

Seems only fair.

Here's what I get from Yahoo address:

"Sorry! We can't find the message you've requested. This message may have been deleted or may have expired. You may also want to check the URL and try again."

yeah, I've got to try to remember the password for Bok's.

Jonathan, Do you mean to imply that we are (all) getting payback for the work of sysops who delete "objectionable threads"? And your soloution is to run and call Daddy Y2K Pro to take the sites all down, cause your bully friends all got slapped on the wrist? Am I missing anything?

Sara, as for the password, think gingrich.......

Thanks, Cherri. Got it!

BTW, you all must know by now that the action is now at Humpty-Dumpty Y2k at http://18.24.3.72/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=HumptyDumptyY2K.

Jonathan, I may disagree with some of what you say, but at least your response was civil. You're right my name wasn't familiar as a mudslinger. About the nastiest thing I've said has been to you just above. Apologies.

Sara-

No problem, apologies from me too. :) We should be nice to each other, we both make our home in the most beautiful spots in the world. :) :)

Keep smiling,

Jonathan
