Monica Lewinsky Appears in Jenny Craig Ad Campaign; Ads Tell 'Changing Life' Story; Introduce New Low Carb Menu Option LA JOLLA, Calif., Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Monica Lewinsky is helping Jenny Craig ring in the new millennium with an ad campaign that dramatically illustrates how ``Jenny Craig Changes Lives.'' The ads, which debut nationally January 2 on NBC's ``Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular,'' also introduce a new low carbohydrate menu option that derives just 50 percent of its calories from carbohydrates.

Lewinsky joined Jenny Craig in the summer of 1999 and added the low carb menu option to her weight-loss regimen in late November. Although the new low carb plan was not available to Jenny Craig clients until December 27, 1999, Lewinsky incorporated it into her weight-loss regimen in November. ``I think the concept of Jenny Craig having a low carb option is great,'' Lewinsky said in one of the new commercials. ``It gives clients just one more opportunity to have a different choice.''

``One of the most amazing things about Jenny Craig for me is that I haven't felt deprived on this program -- at all,'' Lewinsky continued. ``I think Jenny Craig is a great program for someone who not only wants to lose weight, but who's looking to change their life. I feel fantastic!''

Larchet describes the advertising campaign as a mixture of broadcast, cable and Internet media. There are two versions of television commercials featuring Lewinsky -- one 60 seconds in length, the other 30 seconds in length, and both will be featured in the promotional campaign running throughout the Company's markets in the U.S. and Canada.
