Oh god, look what the whiney debunkers went and did NOW!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I looked through the LUSENET groupings and guess what I found? Sandwiched right between the Timebomb 2000 forum and the Prep forum, is one named "TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Deleted Thread"

After being tossed for their idiocy (YEAAAAAH! Sysops!) The idiots are posting things that have been deleted, and are now posting "failed predictions" and "stupid statement" threads!

God I can't wait for next week when the jerks find out the power won't be back on for an "undetermined timeframe" or that the food on the grocery shelfs should be restocked "any day now"!

pathetic, really.

Maybe someone can e-mail Greenspun and have him delete that crap?

Hmmm, why doesn't this thread get deleted?

nah, it's perfectly all right for them to have the other forum. Actually, it's kind of neat for them to have all of those posts crammed together.

Really? You actually look forward to a crisis so that the jerks can no longer say that there will be no crisis? Well, I hope that the jerks (and I agree they are jerks) are absolutely right.

I think its great. Pro, Lady and the other spammers have lost their right to post here, so if they must express their ideas on LUSENET, let them spam their own forum.

Works for me!

Actually, it will let people see what all the commotion is about - and if anyone can't see the reason(s) why this garbage was cleaned up, rather than being left polluting on the floor, they are welcome to continue the discussion there.

Does seem a bit extravagant waste of effort - for only the result of proving how distasteful those who post there actually are.

But surely giving them a place to spew their rabid nonsense is almost as bad as letting them do it here?

People get to see it and that is what they want...

We have the same situation at the radio station where I am a music broadcaster/news reporter. Several people have been fired for acting as several of these on the list have. So they've gotten their own little dysfunctional group together and had meetings and dissed all of us and trying to shake up things. They are all totally self-absorbed and on ego-trips and somewhat disturbed emotionally. I have seen the same behavior with letter writing to the station manager, broadcasters and board. They don't seem to really how irrational they are and that they are their own worst enemies. Its been very interesting to see the parallels.

Sherri,

It'll be even more interesting to see the conlusion. I'm sure it will be a real shocker.
