Has anyone made a solar oven from a 3X5 fresnel lens sheet available from Edmund Scidentific?

It seems as though one could make a very large oven with a wide-spread heat source, instead of just one focal point. In Hawaii where we live it is very windy and the sunoven is often battered with wind. The fresnel sheet design might eliminate that problem. Any inventors out there? I'm curious about how much heat can be generated and if a metal collector to dissipate heat is necessary.
