I never knew any of this. In particular, about the women and children. I am sorry, for I realize it's a bit off-topic, but along the same lines as gov. cover-up and lies.

Welcome to the NWO, coming to YOUR neighborhood 01/01/00!

If you feel compelled to donate to rebuild the church (I have not as of yet) then the Lowes in Waco Texas has a fund which will take credit card donations over the phone. They're hurting for supplies right now. The local cops have been volunteering labor, but they need nails and wood to keep them busy.

It can be both amazing and depressing to learn how much the so-called NEWS in the mass-media lies by omission (or error, etc.).

At one point, I saw the expression "sheeple" (a couple of years back). Being referred to as a farm animal made me mad, but I did a net search on DEJA NEWS, and started reading. Lots of reading. While I also saw every imaginable "conspiracy theory", there also seemed to be quite a bit of very important, credible NEWS that never makes it to Dan Blather.

My biggest let-down was the realization that the US has been converted from a "Constitutional Republic" (fairly unique form of Government, historically speaking) to a "Liberal Democracy" (basically Socialism, when mass-media influence is factored in).

My mother used to tell me that it was impossible to fix a problem until you were ready to acknowledge that you have a problem.

The evidence of criminal behavior by government personnel involved in the Waco tragedy is pretty compelling at this point. Criminals have been put to death in our country on evidence far less compelling.

There has not yet been a full and accurate 'official' accounting of the events that occurred there. Unless those responsible are held accountable for their actions, we cannot even begin to heal.

Until those in positions of responsibility actually accept and face up to their responsibility, there will be no accurate accounting. With respect to Waco, the greatest danger to our country lies in a continued whitewashing of the events that occurred there.

In additon to the site you mentioned above, I would also recommend renting or purchasing the following video:

Waco - The Rules of Engagement

To help you understand how, historically, this situation could come to pass - how such unethical behavior by government personnel can be supported at the highest level, I recommend:

Dereliction of Duty : Johnson, McNamara, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Lies That Led to Vietnam by H. R. McMaster

Unlike some, I do not wish to 'tear down the system' - quite the opposite - I seek to fix what is broken so that others will not feel compelled to 'tear it down'. If the thousands of lives sacrificed by our service personnel during this century are to have any real meaning, we must be willing to face the truth, however difficult. Those who would willingly subvert our government for their own causes should be held accountable for their actions.

Because I believe that, in the final analysis, my mother was right.
