Read this but cant get the link here.

In a nutshell, the suspected bomb accomplice of Ressam boarded a plane Dec 17th headed for vegas. He was reconginzed by a Ticket Agent because he was argumentative.

Apparently McCarron hasnt been put on any kind of alert, but then, if the guy flew Dec 17th, he'd be there anyway by now. The FBI arent saying much.

This article was from Washington Post site, on AP stories.

Not trying to "start something" but, this terrorist reporting is getting on my nerves with it's outright stupidity.

Ok, say you're a terrorist, you're going to wear some scruffy clothes, dirty hair, and look furtively, from side to side. Then, you're going to pick a highly visable and open area to enter the country. Then the moment anyone approaches you you're going to go "bonkers." Run around hollering. Become argumentative. All the while your clothes reak of fertilizer and diesel fumes. Not to mention that when asked for identification, you've got three, maybe four different sets. One has a picture of you as a blonde, and your name is Mary O'Brien.

Suppose anyone will notice you?

Something is very fishey here. Either these newsreporters have gone over the edge, our government is lying, or these terrorists haven't got the brains to find their way out of a bathtub, let alone blow something up. Which is it?

Agree with Richard. Look for yesterdays post about this terrorist act being run by "Dumb and Dumber". I think this terrorist blarkey is a CROCK!

Visa announces new slogan/add campaign NEW YORK, Dec 21 (Geuters) Visa International today unveiled a new add campaign designed to tie into the expected demand surge for credit card use and travel as the world approaches the new millenium.

The new catchphrase "Terrorism, It's Everywhere You Want To Be This New Years Eve!" is destined to carry our company into the next thousand years as consumers begin purchasing water, beans rice and gas masks said Visa Germany spokesperman Weir Hosed.

This whole terrorist malarky reeks of a gov strawman scam in order to stir up the public, and make the sheep more pliable to accept what they really have in mind

i was at the NRA range this evening and asked a "government worker" if this terrorism thing was for real or a way to manipulate us? he said it is real. i wonder? seems fishy to me too. WHY IS IT NO ONE IN THE MEDIA TALKS ABOUT Y2K BUT EVERYONE IS JUMPING ON THE TERRORISM BANDWAGON!!??

-- tt (cuddluppy@nowhere.com), December 26, 1999.

CUDDLE PUPPY, the answer is obvious.

Terrorism is highly visible. Y2K is not.

Consider the WTO meeting in Seattle. If you were a news producer, which would you air?,

A bunch of men sitting around a table in suits going "Sanctions blah blah blah, child labor blah blah, union blah, environment blah blah."

OR

Guys throwing rocks, cops hiting guys, weirdly dressed protestors, tear gas, blood, pepper spray, blood, night sticks BLOOD, ETC.

Try to explain Y2K, software, embedded chips, etc. to your neighbors, you will either put them to sleep or drive them insane.
