Will stuff in attic generally freeze?

I was wondering how I could hide most of my preps from looters in case things get really bad in the city I'm in. I was thinking of storing the supplies up in my attic, but it is not insulated (only the floor of it is). I'm in the Northwest so if I doubt if we'll get below 25F. Do you think the canned food, etc. will freeze?

Your attic, if the floor is properly insulated, should be the same temperature roughly as outside. You don't want to freeze canned goods (unless there's no moisture, such as dried veggies, etc.) A word of caution - make sure you don't put too much in one area - spread out the load where possible. If possible, don't put canned/jars up there - maybe dried items like pasta, flour, sugar, etc. But then with these types of items you have to worry about vermin getting into them.

If I were you, I'd prep an area (put down wood/plywood/etc,) and keep the foodstuffs in a room close to the attic trap door - and only put the canned goods up there if things deteriorate. Use some insulation blankets or similar to cover them for added concealment.

Lemme see here, freezing occurs at 32 degrees.

Your attic "will rarely get below 25"

Do the math.

I'll bet you were told that there'd be no math?
