I know that Gary talks a lot about economic impact of Y2K, but an "economics guru"? His degree is in History isn't it?

His PhD is in economic history. He is well versed in, and writes from, an integrated perspective of economics, history, theology, social and political theory. His life work is writing an economic commentary on the Bible, so far including books on Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and Matthew (both available this month), and about 40 other books and over 800 newsletters. He is one of the most brilliant minds around.

No, Gary publishes a Christian Economics magazine. I forget what it's called, but am sure someone will be along soon with the insight...

Anyway, history is the study of the struggle for gold, is it not?
