Having a brutal time connecting to this forum, my ISP seems to be fine. What's happening? Anybody?? Unusual number of hits? Server problems? Or just me?

Last night there seemed to have been a LOT of polly floods trying to clog the server. I saw some, but they were quickly deleted. Many times, I got a "page not available" message.

Wusses like "Y2K Putz" have a history of participating in "denial of service" attacks against this board. Maybe that happened too.

Yeah, but what are the specifics behind the Free Republic forum disruption this week? Was it routine or was it a hack job?
