Quick question....who is c4i? Background?

Just wondering. Never heard of her/him. Mean no disrespect.

c4i is one-or-more individual(s) whose bona fides have been checked by a couple of the other sysops (but not by me). He/she/they claim to be closely affiliated with intelligence-gathering activities in the Dee Cee area, which gives them insights and perspectives on Y2K that many of us don't have.

There have been other threads emanating from c4i postings earlier this year. They're somewhere in the archives; I suspect that linkmeister or someone else will post them soon, as a convenience to all of us.

I suggest that you "suspend your disbelief" for the moment, and just follow the questions and answers to see what makes sense, and what doesn't. Then make up your own mind...

maybe even i4c?

Thanks Ed.

A c4i archive?

C4I is a Puzzle Palace (Pentagon) acronym meaning (not necessarily in this order): Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence.

Oops, that only works out to C3I... well find another "C" word... Computers? Whatever works for you.

The fourth "C" is computers

He/she/they claim to be closely affiliated with intelligence- gathering activities in the Dee Cee area.

Well excuse me for being a Doubting Thomas, but what kind of bona fides can he/she/they have when "Mr." Yourdon doesn't even know who/what/where he is talking to?

Ridiculous, totally and without a doubt the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Did I actually read someone asking C4I about a body count this winter in the US and World?

Just, pray tell, can those people tell you about the future that Madame Fetterman the Aspiring Psychic cannot tell you for 20$? I never knew the Pentagon was into Crystal Ballotography.

If you ask about body count and you get an answer, you might know something about a) how bad it's really going to be re: the power grid or even terrorist activities, 2) how much TPTB really know or can make a reasonable guess at what is in store. As you see, they didn't answer the question. Neither did they answer questions about unemployment projections, or the Internet.

Fascinating. Disappointed no one did a "secret code analysis" on the latest post w/the typos. The transcription software theory was incongruent with the pattern of typos.

c4i, now that you have a few more months of data, including the Dec 15 date transpiring, what does your list look like now? I'm curious about the adjustments that you have made, understanding that your accuracy level on this project would now be higher.

Me thinks the fourth "C" stands for "confused."

-- Buster (BustrCollins@aol.com), December 24, 1999.

We have a background in C2 (Command and Control). This means we are BIG PICTURE people. We're paid to play the "What If" Game. We're paid to extrapolate information and trend data. We're paid to provide an OVERALL assessment of operations, support, logistics, and socioeconomic and psychological factors for situations. We're paid to plan strategies for the long view. In short it means we have the information, tools, intelligence systems, talent, and know-how at this organization's disposal to reasonably forecast and predict outcomes. We have an 89.3% rate of our forecasts coming true and this is for events without a definitive date. This organization is studying Y2K. Yes, we are DOD.

No, they are not DOD or anything else they claim, they are just full of it and enjoy suckering people. If they were who they say they were they would not have a need to go around and tell who they are and what they do.

AH, it's Cherri the polly ostrich again.

-- cody (cody@y2ksurvive.com), December 24, 1999.

Cherri -- why do you care? Oh, right, because all the doomers are going to get ... stressed out ... and do .... bad .... things.

This is an Internet forum, guys. Get it? Electrons. Aliases. Anonymity. Proceed at your own risk. All is not as it seems (including with Cherri). Receive ALL information (c4i) included and analyze for yourself. I still say that Indianapolis will win the Super Bowl, NOT Jacksonville. Or was Jacksonville disinformation?

We know as much or more about c4i than we do about quite a few others on this forum! Take yourself, Cherri. How do we "know" those photos of you weren't cadged from old issues of Family Circle?

As for me, I've been in special ops for years. How else can my encycopedic knowledge, experience and wisdom be explained? Or not. How would you know? You don't.

It's enough for me to know I've been right about Y2K. Someone had to be. Humble too.
