Yep, They are doomers.

I liked a post someone made a few days back: The CIA's definition of Paranoia: An adult reaction to reality.

It absolutely amazes me that, as more and more stories start appearing in the mainstream press about how the upper echelon of industry and government officials are planning to be residing in Y2K bunkers replete with electric generators, stored food and water, etc., John Q. Public continues to sleep through it all. As much as many blame spin doctors like Koskinen, John Q. deserves quite a bit of blame also for being so willingly naive.

Y2K CANNOT BE FIXED!

(ex)Sea,

It's like this see ?!.. today we ('we' being liberally applied) have been labeled as "rumormongers" by none other than Energy Secretary Bill Richardson.

So you see Sea, if you had taken half of someone elses money by threat or force, you too could call them names (officially speaking) and then hurry off below ground protecting yourself from the loonies upstairs.

Hey ! Good news ! If they stay under long enough, in a couple of generations they will become beings without eyes. heheheeheheheheheheh
