Any good sites for Solar panels?greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
I've bought a small solar battery charger (just got it in fact) but am wondering if there are any other uses for it. I'm not much of a tinkerer (I'd hate to destroy the solar cells)...Are there any good sites on the web for good solar cell projects, please?
Thanks!

Nevermind, just went there and they can't guarantee anything before Jan 3th. Anyway, you can directly power a small radio off one of things.

Correction, you can power a small radio even while you are charging your batteries then use the batteries after the sun goes down. Just keep your +'s and -'s straight.

I do have one dear, that's why I'm not freaking out about Y2K. It'll be a bit painful, but the world's not going to end. Take some prozac...
