Court Records Vulnerable To Y2K - (STATEWIDE) -- Eight Oklahoma counties are in danger of a Y-2-K meltdown in their court records systems. Oklahoma County is due to be connected to the new Oklahoma Court Information System, but tests in Tulsa County have proved problematic. The latest problem occurred last week when some civil court records that were transferred to the new system could NOT be accessed. That means workers had to fall back on the old system which is NOT Y-2-K compliant. Once expanded to all 77 counties, the new system will offer Internet access to court records at the touch of a few keystrokes. It's intended to be the first fully integrated statewide court computer system in the U-S.

Ooops. It's okay - just takes three days to fix.
