www.totalsurvival.com is selling rad. meters they say are same as used in Civil Defence shelters, for $40. Anyone familiar with these meters? Are they good or "rejects?"  I got a $15 "kit in a can" meter (that I have yet to attempt to assemble.), but would spring for the $40 one if I knew it was goo

Got the one with the headphones and it works great. I am downwind from Comanche Peak, got my meter and my potassium iodine tabs. Bring it on.
