It is indeed the first TRUE test of the electronic age. I really don't that that was your point but a test it is. Can we do it ? Yes. But, how long and at what dear cost ?

Anybody figure out what the guy is trying to say?

Anyone that believes in "God" is wacko. But there is a continium (just like the scale of possible Y2K scenarios). Fortunately, most people are only 1-3 and so are fairly functional. A bunch more are 4-7 and are religious nuts. Then there are the 7-10s like the starter of this thread, who mumble audibly to themselves as they stagger down the street.

A: Your lack of faith is disturbing.

A,

Right on cue as usual.

"Anyone that believes in "God" is wacko."

Now I get it! You know!

Wack the Wackos at Waco, Wack 'em now, Wack 'em now, the long the short and the tall, wack 'em all, wack 'em all! Oh look and see them all fall, wack 'em all.

Why?

Of course! Because they had guns? No! Because they had belief! Easy target. Show those stupid Believers that if they believe anything they will believe that us nonbelievers will wack 'em all if they dare defy the will of the System Masters.

Shouldn't Jesus' followers at least be able to spell His name correctly? It's not that hard, as names go.

On this spelling thing, this post scrolls off screen, and when you get to the end it hides what you have written, and it is very easy to misspell when you are unable to see what you have written.

I have no problem with religious wackos as long as they mind their own f*ing business. When they start using the state (the political process) to put into law all their busybody and moralistic wacko notions, affecting me, that's when I object.

As far as the Waco wackos -- on other threads, you would see that I agree that what they were doing was none of the government's business. Even if they were having orgies with 6-year olds, it's none of the government's business. The government is/are murderers.

But note: If not for the Christian horror and terror of the thoughts of children (gasp) having sex, the government would not have had the excuse of "saving the children" to burn them out. (BTW, I know one of you wackos is now going to say that I am a pedophile. Not! I like slim women with big tits and big asses. Jennifer Lopez!)

Re scrolling out of window, there ARE "home" and "end" keys. Maybe that's a Microsucks IE problem. In Netscape, text wraps (at least the way I have it set up.

Hyperbolic: I thought it was "I find your lack of faith disturbing" (stentorian breathing, black cape flowing etc etc) :)
