Vitamins and Health Products on line?greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread |
Where are the great vitamin warehouses on-line where you can buy your favorite products at discount and find everything? The prices on vitamins.com didn't seem so hot...In my mind, I'm searching for a "super co-op" on line. Like a gigantic food co-op that would have all the products my local co-op sells, but without the high sales tax and the higher retail prices. Even my co-op has raised its prices, because it wants to pay its workers well.
Thanks in advance!

Sallie, Vitamins.com seems in line with other sites. You can get initial freebies at mothernature.com ($20 off. I don't think there's the type of co-op that you describe.

CAUTION ABOUT VITAMINS.COMTheir site offers a $25 discount on the first order. Kewl, I thought! But when I placed my first order, they didn't give me the promised discount. I sent an email asking why. I waited and waited - no response. I sent a *second* email then waited and waited some more. I tried calling their 800# but it was continually busy. Finally, FIFTEEN DAYS after my first email I get a response. First they tell me to call the 800# that's always busy, then they tell me they'll give me the $25 discount on my *second* order, and when I told them this wasn't acceptable they AGAIN told me to call the 800# and then they just blew me off.
Based on my personal experience, I do NOT recommend Vitamins.com!!!

Well, I'm glad I checked in here. Thanks Luna. And hope you get some justice from them. I did send an email to them and no response from them.

I use www.vitaminshoppe.com. Prices aren't bad, delivery is quick.
