Was about a 60 minute segment. Interviews at a local Sam's club...

I am in the computer industry and all the y2k patches have been applied. I don't forsee any problems but just want to buy some stuff just in case...

If you want to stock up for 3 days for a family of 4 it will cost you about $91.

$10.00 Water $6.00 Toiletpaper $.... (Didn't catch the entire list)

Said that Sam's Manager said they have seen increased Sales in ready meals and babyfood. Also Home Depot said that the sales of Flashlights and batteries went faster. But no reason to worry. Still plenty available.

Then interview with economy professor from North Texas University Weinstein. No problem with people buying stuff. It did not cause problem for the economy so far. Don't worry about y2k.

Anyway... Looked promising at first. Then it turned out to be a dud.
