greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Did anyone see it? Any comments? It came out tonite, titled "Two Weeks to Go". I'll give the man credit--he sticks to his guns. No last minute wimping out. I wonder what he'll do if y2k is not a total crash?

If Y2K is not a total crash, he May go back to the city(that has a good library)with his wife. And, no, he doesn't wimp out.

Any comments? Yes...

I wonder what he'll do if y2k is not a total crash? Well, if he remains true to form he will seek out yet another scarey topic and hype it for all it's worth. (Hadn't you noticed? He's been doing that for years? http://www.serve.com/t hibodep/cr/y2k.htm)

Yes, he has been doing it for years.

He has been at it for so long now that eventually he might be right about a coming disaster.

My worry is that after being wrong so many times, he just might be right for the first time. He just might be right about Y2K.

This could the story of the boy (aka Scary Gary) who cried wolf!

But, not to worry your pretty little heads. He has been wrong everytime (I don't include the millions infected and dying of aids in Africa and Southeast Asia, because AIDS is only a plague pandemic if could wipe out millions in America)and Y2K has been fixed.

How do you know it has been fixed?

Just a guess.
