Excellent stuff Number Six, excellent stuff... BUT even better is this new guy on the British comedy scene... He goes by the name of Ali G - he is actually a white guy but blacks up and wears stree baggy clothes and pretends he's a Pakistani employed by a TV station - he then interviews unsuspecting media types 9ex head of CIA, a gang leader in Watts LA, a member of the Protestant Lib Army In N. Ireland, a member of The Aristocracy in England, that toa rag who represented OJ Simpson (forget the assholes' name...) - Yas gots to check id out man!
Al i GEnjoy!!! PS John, Have emailed you about 2 hrs ago re. moola... http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/morocco/518/interview.html

number six--Way off topic...and as a Texan and former (amateur status) standup, I thank you. Hicks was the guy who made me want to try.
Best regards,
and still laughing,

number six, thank you so much for starting this thread. I went to high school with Bill in Houston in the late seventies. We had a couple of classes together and we sat next to each other and cheated on tests. God, he made me laugh. He really was a genius and I was so sad when he died. Am distressed to admit I haven't thought about him in ages. Could never have imagined he'd turn up here, but you know what?? He'd have LOVED it. He didn't have the chance to become as well-known as he deserved to be. But maybe that's okay--hopefully no one will ever make a movie of his life starring Jim Carrey. Bill was inimitable.
