..."local banks have been telling their customers they're Y2K compliant". Duzzny said "local banks have contingency plans to limit withdrawals or close if too many people withdraw too much money." hmm...Vern will be withdrawing my last several hundred tomorrow.

Vern, western civilization may collapse in two weeks and YOU are worry about a $9.99 video on preparation? Get a life man!

...duh? what does a reply like that have anything to do with the FYI I posted?...Jose/Miami

Dunno, Vern. Maybe it's the fact that your questioning Ed Yourdon's charging a very nominal fee for a video ($9.99 barely covers costs) contrasts rather oddly with the fears about your funds as expressed in this post. You're all hot and bothered about possible bank failures and the impact on your money, but criticize Mr. Yourdon's efforts to warn others about such issues.

$9.99?? LOL!!

Hell, even Microsoft charges $5 "shipping and handling" on a Service Pack (tm) to mostly correct their own mistakes...they should be paying us a "consultant fee" for wasting our time with their "issues." (never say bugs LoL!)
